The Harriers Marathon training group are now in week 3 of their Sunday long run from the DW. We meet at 8am in the usual spot and head off up the canals of Wigan to get those all important marathon miles in.
We stick to an out and back route up to Top Lock and then out towards Adlington to ensure runners at all stages of their marathon plan, (or paces), can fit in somewhere. This Sunday we had runners covering 14 to 18 miles at paces varying from 7:30 to 9 minute mile pace.
